Physiotherapy

 

Physiotherapy is a health care profession focused on preventing and managing pain, physical impairments and disabilities which may limit participation in work, sport or daily activities.  The physiotherapy profession is regulated and has established educational standards.  Only those who meet these standards can call themselves a physiotherapist.

A Physiotherapist has received a university education providing an in-depth body of knowledge and specialized skills in anatomy and movement sciences.  Physiotherapists work in many different areas including; orthopedics, cardiorespiratory, neurology, pediatrics, women’s health, senior’s health and sports.

Physiotherapists understand movement.  They know how to get you moving and keep you moving!
